About Dragz

Dragz is a free dragon io game that plays in your browser. It was made as a game jam submission and we're very pleased we won the 2nd place. The competition was the io Global Game Jam in 2018.

The game is currently in alpha and under development.

In Dragz you play with the fierce Dragons or the noble Thunderbirds and wreck havoc across the battlefield! Collect Crystals to power up your attack and dash away or shield yourself when in danger. Gather your friends and battle Crysturl, the crystal boss which occupies the volcano. Defeat him and get rewarded!

Gameplay

The main objective  in Dragz is to level up your Dragon or Thunderbird which increases your size and power. Leveling up is done by acquiring Experience from gathering Crystals, defeating players and Crysturl.

Controls

The controls are simple, the Dragon / Thunderbird follows the mouse cursor.

• Left mouse button - attacks
• Right mouse button - dashes if Dragon or shields if Thunderbird

Tips

• At low levels it's better to focus on gathering Crystals and running away from danger.
• Fighting Crysturl is a great challenge if alone.

• Added Crysturl, the Crystal Lord; he spins and throws projectiles all around and also deals damage on collision. Requires a party to defeat.
